One day after we sold the old "Volga", russian car, my father and I wanted to buy a new smaller one. We had a very limited budget, and we were thinking about buying "Stojadin"(Zastava 101). After a lot of add calling, looking for different Stojadins, I realized that for the money I had, I can only buy a rotten one. My father let me choose the car. After thinking about which car I could also buy, I decided to look around for some samaras, but they costed a lot more than I was able to pay. Finally, I found in the add one samara, which was close to the money I could pay. The car was in pretty poor condition. It was in a car accident, repaired, it was dirty, dashboard was cracked, seats were broken, there was some rust, but it wasn't rotten, one engine cylinder wasn't working. After checking most of the things, I decided to buy it. First, the engine was repaired(one broken valve), brakes, belts, tires, battery, later fuel pump, water pump, radiator, etc. After a lot of work, I have a decent car which I really like. My friend told me that I raised it from the death :-). Last year it had a body work and will be repainted next month. In the interior of the car a lot of things were done. I installed tachometer, stereo system (not to hear squeeks and rattles(just a joke)), replaced the floor carpet, replaced the seats with "ford escort" ones, hid dashboard cracks with carpet, replaced the back shelf with a metal one, repaired all the vents etc. I also installed the propane device in it. I really like my car, I was doing most of the repairs by myself, and I really like to work on it. I made a lot of kilometers with it, having in mind in which country I live and high fuel prices here.

I am using my car everyday, going to work (while it is still cold) going out for a weekends, trips to everywhere around. I made a lot of kilometers with it, having in mind in which country I live and high fuel prices here. I have a girlfriend from Canada, and even she said she likes it :-D (probably because of me :-)).
